Pastor Werner was born in Minnesota and raised in Wisconsin. He attended Martin Luther College, then enrolled at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary to prepare for the pastoral ministry. After graduating in 2001 with a Master of Divinity he taught for two years at MLC before beginning his full time work as a pastor first in Wisconsin, and later in Florida. In 2008 he met Rinda and they married in 2009. They moved to San Diego in 2014 when Pastor was called to serve at Reformation. They have one son, Daniel. |

Adam was born and raised in Wisconsin. He attended Martin Luther College in Minnesota and graduated in 2008. Adam married his wife, Jessica, in the winter of 2007. After graduating from MLC, he took a call to teach in WI. In 2015, he and his family moved to Carlsbad, CA where he taught for one year. In 2016 the Bohl's moved to San Diego to begin serving here at Reformation. Adam has the most experience teaching the upper grades, where he loves helping the older students grow in their faith. Adam and Jessica have 4 children; Esther, Jacob, Naomi, and Levi. He enjoys cooking, building projects, and spending time with his family. Adam and Jess also enjoy meeting and getting to know the church and school families. |

Mrs. Brennan grew up in San Diego, California, and attended Reformation as a child. Every since she was little she has loved working with children, helping them learning about their Savior. Mrs. Brennan graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a degree in Child Development. While attending college she was also a Division 1 gymnast, where she helped her team win two conference championships. She also received her synod certification from Martin Luther College. Along with her passion for teaching, and making connections with families, Mrs. Brennan loves exploring San Diego with her family, and finding local places to eat. In 2021 the Lord blessed Mrs. Brennan and her husband Ryan with a beautiful baby girl named Mia. |

Jessica Bohl grew up in Central Oregon. Her family moved to California so she could attend California Lutheran High School. She then went on to attend Martin Luther College and graduated in 2008 with her bachelors of science in education. Jessica married Adam Bohl winter of 2007. She has taught a variety of positions part time over the last 13 years as she stayed home to raise their 4 children. Jessica is very excited to be teaching Kindergarten full time this year. She enjoys connecting with the families at church and school and looks forward to what God has in store for the ministry here at Reformation. |

Eileen Draper and her husband John have five children and eight grandchildren living in Idaho, Wisconsin, Colorado and Sofia, Bulgaria. She has taught school for more than 40 years most of which were spent at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran School in La Mesa, CA where she taught K-4. After three years of retirement, Eileen enjoyed teaching at Carlsbad Christian Academy and is now looking forward to teaching grades 1-2 here at Reformation. In her free time, Eileen likes to take road trips, read, walk and watch the Padres. This summer, Eileen and John were able to travel to Bulgaria, Greece and Italy and had a wonderful experience! |

Michael Ash has been serving Reformation since the summer of 2005. Mr. Ash is currently teaching grades 3-4 and serves as Athletic Director. Mr. Ash served as principal at Living Word Christian Academy in Mission Viejo for 8 years. Mr. Ash and his wife, Tina, have two children who attend California Lutheran High School. Mr. Ash and Tina enjoy attending their daughter's volleyball games and their son's football games. They love to support California Lutheran High School in whatever way they can since the high school is connected to Reformation. The Reformation basketball tournament is the highlight of Mr. Ash's year because, as athletic director, he has the opportunity to bring together teams from Arizona and Southern California to compete in the longest running grade school basketball tournament. He is joyful to see many young Christian athletes use their God-given talents on the basketball court. |

Michael Ross was born in Neenah, WI. He attended Trinity Lutheran School through grade 8. While attending Fox Valley Lutheran High School, in Appleton, WI, he played football (earning All-Conference honors in his senior year) and basketball and participated in Track and Field. Mike graduated in the spring of 2004 and started at Martin Luther College in the fall of 2004, playing football for two years. He graduated with a state teaching license in 2008. During college, Mike met Jessica and they married on June 21st, shortly after graduation. After graduation, Mike received his first divine call. He was assigned as 5th & 6th grade teacher and athletic director to Cross of Christ Lutheran School in Coon Rapids, MN. For one year, he served as the 3rd-5th grade teacher. In the summer of 2015, Mike received a call to serve at Ascension Lutheran School in Escondido, CA. Mike served as principal and 4-8 teacher. Ascension closed the school after the 2016-2017 school year. Shortly after that, Mike received the call to teach 2nd grade at Reformation. Mike and Jess now live in the North Park neighborhood in San Diego. During his free time, Mike likes to enjoy technology, cars, and sports. |
