Reformation Lutheran School has had international students attend our school for more than 10 years. The Homestay program is a vital part of our international student program. International students sometimes need homes to stay at while they attend Reformation.
The Homestay program offers international students a safe and loving environment while attending Reformation for the short-term or long-term. International students who are enrolled for the short-term attend Reformation for two months or less usually during their “winter break”. Long-term international students attend Reformation for the entire school year.
Many Reformation families who offered a homestay in the past have commented how much joy and enrichment the homestay experience has brought to them because they get to meet children of a different cultural background.
Reformation members and school families who open their home for a homestay will receive an appropriate stipend per month to meet the needs of their international student. If you are interested in opening your home for the homestay program, please contact Michael Ash at .
