2023 SoCal WELS Track Meet

Saturday, May 6

Carlsbad High School - Carlsbad, CA
3557 Monroe St.
Carlsbad, CA 92008

All students in grades 1-8 are invited to participate in the Track Meet!

The Track Meet will be held this year at Carlsbad High School in Carlsbad, CA.  We will compete with students from the 7 other WELS Lutheran Schools in Southern California, much like our basketball teams have done. The Track Meet begins at 9:30am and continues throughout the day. All participating students should arrive by 9:15am so that you can receive necessary information for participation. All students will check in with their teacher to receive a name tag with the list of events in which they are participating.

To sign up your student, please complete and return the Sign Up form by Friday, April 28. You must circle the events your student wants to complete. Students can select up to 5 events. Students who are participating and selected to participate in in the 4x100m relay team will be limited to 4 events plus the relay team. Reformation staff will select relay team participants.

Please make arrangements to get your student to the track meet, transportation is not provided by Reformation.  If you need helping finding transportation for your student, please contact your classroom teacher.

There will not be an on-site concession stand/snack bar this year. Consider bringing these items to the Track Meet: food/water/drinks, chairs, shade canopy, sunscreen, and hat. Students should wear their blue or gold Reformation tshirt, black shorts (if possible) and athletic shoes.

The Track Meet is a fun day of friendly competition for our school community and network schools. We look forward to supporting our students and spending the day together!

Please contact your classroom teacher or Sarah Rodrigues ( ) with any questions.
